Winter wedding at Woodinville venue, Columbia Collective :

Zoe & Joe’s February wedding was the kind of day that reminds you just how magical Pacific Northwest weddings can be.Eespecially when everything comes together so effortlessly. As a Columbia Collective Wedding Photographer, I had been looking forward to this celebration for months. It absolutely lived up to every expectation.

The day began just down the road at the beautiful new Somm Hotel in Woodinville. Zoe got ready in a light-filled suite surrounded by her closest friends. The entire morning felt calm, joyful, and full of anticipation. Meanwhile, the soft winter light streaming through the windows created the perfect setting for timeless Film Wedding Photos. I documented the day using a mix of film cameras—including the Holga for dreamy, artistic frames, the Nikon F100 for crisp storytelling, the Contax 645 for those iconic medium format portraits, and the Yashica T4 for candid, nostalgic moments. As a Woodinville Wedding Photographer, having the flexibility to shoot on multiple film stocks and formats allows me to capture weddings in a way that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

Winter weddings in Woodinville, WA :

Even though it was a February wedding, we were incredibly lucky. Instead of the usual gray skies, the day surprised us with warm sunshine and clear blue skies. Because of that, Zoe & Joe were able to fully enjoy the indoor-outdoor flow that makes a Columbia Collective wedding so special. Their ceremony space was flooded with natural light, which not only elevated the experience for their guests but also made every photograph glow with warmth.

In addition, the design details throughout the day were absolutely stunning. One of my favorite florists, Floral Designs by Maria, created lush, romantic arrangements that perfectly complemented the modern industrial aesthetic of the venue. Soft textures, organic movement, and a refined color palette brought everything together in a way that felt both elevated and inviting. At the same time, Annie of Simply by Tamara Nicole orchestrated the day flawlessly. Her thoughtful planning ensured that every moment flowed seamlessly—from the ceremony to cocktail hour and into the reception. If you’re looking for a dream team for your Columbia Collective Wedding, look no further.

As the evening unfolded, the golden hour light poured into the space, creating the dreamiest setting for portraits. Then, as guests gathered for dinner and celebration, the atmosphere shifted into something even more magical. Warm, intimate, and full of energy. Every laugh, every toast, and every quiet in-between moment was captured on film, preserving the day exactly as it felt.

Ultimately, Zoe & Joe’s wedding at Columbia Collective was the perfect blend of intentional design, heartfelt moments, and incredible light. As a Columbia Collective Wedding Photographer and Woodinville Wedding Photographer, these are the kinds of weddings that inspire me most. Where every detail is meaningful, and every photograph tells a story that will last for generations.
