When it comes to choosing a location for your engagement photos we are here to help. We usually tell our clients to start with places you like to go as a couple. Where was your first date ? Where did you meet ? A place that you frequently go to together. Or just a place you both find beautiful where you can relax and be yourselves. There are no rules with locations for engagement photos and no rules for when to do them. If you want to take your engagement photos a year before your wedding, that works ! If you want to do them the week before, that works too ! Its your wedding and your photos and there really are no rules. Something to consider when finding the right location is the season. If its summer you can go blueberry picking, jump in a lake or sail on a boat ! If its fall you may opt to go hiking or to an apple orchard. You get the picture (wink wink).

If you want to send over photos of outfits you have in mind we will gladly take a look and give any advice. Some outfits may look great in person but may not photograph well. Generally more neutral tones and natural colors are the most flattering. But this all depends on the location, season, your skin tones etc. So let us help you find the perfect outfit !
