Laid back casual engagement photos at Seattle's Discovery Park

Shannon & Ben had one request, they wanted their engagement session to be casual and playful. They also wanted to include their puppy in a few photos. When including your dog its good to have a friend to help walk your dog during your engagement photos and also bring them back home when you want the second half of your shoot to focus on the two of you. I love the laid back California cool outfits Shannon picked out. They were true to themselves and picked a wardrobe that reflected their personalities. After spending some time in the fields and flowers of Discovery Park we headed down to the Lighthouse and beach area. They both changed into some beachy linen outfits and I was so in love with the dress Shannon had on. They picked colors that enhanced the beauty of the puget sound and the blue water and golden sunset. We only had a few minutes at the beach as the sun was quickly fading. We used some Portra 800 film to really bring out the vibrancy of the blue water. We can't wait for their wedding in Summer 2025 at Fox Hollow Farm !
