Joe and I had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time. When we first met Rebecca and she told us the story of how her and Andrew first met (melted our hearts), and all about their ideas for their New Years wedding at Within Sodo, we new it was going to be an incredible wedding ! Together with their incredible wedding planner Simply by Tamara Nicole, they came up with the most perfect gold, navy and glitter details. They had a gorgeous desert table with an oval navy and gold cake designed by Honey Crumb Cake studio, flowers with gold glitter leaves from Florarama Modern Design, blue and gold invitations from Paper Creations by Seveng, gold sequin linens and table runners from Creative Coverings laid across their family style farm tables from Vintage Ambiance. Simply by Tamara Nicole hand made a custom blue and gold photo booth backdrop ! The southern style food from Blue Ribbon Cooking School included, mac n cheese, potatoes, steak, chicken, corn bread, and so many other delicious things ! And my favorite part, Rebecca’s three different fashion looks. Her first dress was a classic mermaid style bridal gown by Winnie Couture, followed by a long black lace evening gown from Alice and Olivia, ringing in the new year in a short gold sequin cocktail dress by BCBG. Her hair was styled by the fabulous Yessie Hair and Makeup Artistry, and her two fabulous hair accessories were made by Stella Designs. They partied all night with Integral DJ’s who played new and old school hip hop. We are now a big fan of New Years Eve weddings and so honored that we were chosen to tell the story of an epic night and capture their special day.
