Sometimes our clients like to remain private and we always respect our clients wishes. So for this post we will share some of the beautiful decor details from this intimate Canlis wedding in Seattle. We loved shooting here and the florals from March Floral were to pretty not to share ! The cake was from Honey Crumb Cake Studio and we love the simplicity and attention to quality ! We shot this wedding on Fuji 400h film and the film was scanned by Photovision.
It was one of those on again off again rain days in the PNW however that didn’t stop us from capturing the most stunning garden portraits. We started with their first look at Queen Anne’s Parson’s garden which we had all to ourselves (thanks rain !) then we headed to a few other locations close by to Canlis and shot more portraits. Once we arrived at Canlis our bride and groom were greeted by an intimate group of their closest family and friends followed by a four course meal was served to a family style table. The vibe was dimly lit and elegant like a piano bar. Fresh oyster’s were passed as guests mingled around the open bar. The decor was simple yet tasteful with thought put into each element, from the linens to the gold flatware.
Opt for an off site getting ready suite for the bride. Book a room at the Thompson or search for a cute AirBnb in the Queen Anne neighborhood. For your first look Parsons Garden or Highlands Park are a must. You can even have your ceremony at Parsons garden with your reception at Canlis. Also plan to take your group family photos off site. Canlis is wonderful but it is small inside and not ideal for large group photos.

Filled with inspiration for this new Washington wedding venue Fox Hollow Farm is a newer Seattle area wedding venue.
