Cori & Brian – Woodmark Hotel Wedding – Seattle Wedding

The film we used:

Cori & Brian had a colorful, fun summer wedding at the Woodmark Hotel and Spa in Kirkland WA. For their first look we used the dock, it was such a nice day the water was a gorgeous blue. I used mostly Portra 400 and Portra 800 for their photos. I chose to use these film stocks to help show off the vibrant colors of this summer wedding day. Goodman Film Lab did such a great job on the film scans !

Bridal hair & makeup:

Cori’s Bridal hair and makeup were done by Pacific Brides who we have worked with for many many years now. They always do such a great job especially with a more natural type of look. I loved the low bun with wispy bangs that Cori opted for. The Woodnmark Hotel can be a windy place and so it blew her bangs in such a whimsical romantic way. Her golden tan really made her white dress pop as well as helped her bright blue eyes to stand out.

Their wedding planner Your Perfect Bridesmaid did a great job making sure the day flowed smooth. Cori’s gorgeous bridal bouquet was designed by Monica’s Ideal Designs. I loved Cori’s modern minimalist wedding dress that she found at Nyanza Bridal. One of the coolest parts of their wedding day was that they had Ice Cream Social Tacoma bring an ice cream cart to the reception. Joe and I actually had the same cart at our wedding ! So fun 🙂 After ice cream the guests headed into the ballroom at the Woodmark hotel to dance the night away with Injoy Entertainment.
