Liz & Jay had a romantic and beautifuly styled intimate wedding ceremony in Olympia WA at the State Capitol House. They were married by Justice Yu of our state supreme court. They had a small group of their closest family and friends attend. It was also one of the coldest days ever ! But Liz rocked her short lace wedding dress and heels and I couldn’t believe how well she handled freezing ! It was worth it though. The architecture of these historic buildings is what drew them to the state capitol for their wedding, so we had to capture it in all its glory. The marble interior was so dreamy and the details on the doors and columns were amazing as well. We shot a mix of digital film and the film is Portra 160 believe it or not ! I never get to shoot much of this film stock living in WA as its always too dark. Scans by Richard Photo Lab.
