Leanne & Lawson got married at Camp Korey just north of Seattle in a town called Arlington. This vene had never been used for a wedding before. It’s a place that hosts summer camps for children and families with life altering medical conditions. Visit the link above to learn more about it. We were one of the first Seattle film wedding photographer teams to be able to shoot wedding photos at this particular venue so we were excited to see what we could capture there and it did not disappoint. I spent the morning with Leanne and her bridesmaids as they put on the most stunning green satin bridesmaid dresses followed by Leanne and her father having a sweet first look with each other before she went to meet Lawson on the field.

The bride and groom had their first look out in a field with tiny daisy’s and the wind blowing just right. Being a Seattle film wedding photographer I loved the beautiful sprawling farm. One of my favorite shots is her running towards him and the wind picking up her dress and hair, it’s so romantic. The openness of the venue allowed soft overhead light to bounce in to the frame and fill in any shadows.

The florals were some of the best Ive ever seen ! By Floral Designs By Maria. Pink Blossom Events planned the day to perfection along with cake from the The Sweet Side . The couples dog was my favorite part of the day as she ran around the farm like she owned the place and it was adorable ! It was on again off again rain (typical for Seattle Weddings) however, we got the most amazing golden hour ( film photographer dreams) ! We only had a few minutes to shoot in that light but it was amazing ! I quickly loaded Fuji 400h and shot at least three rolls within 10 minutes ! I highly recommend setting aside time during golden hour for your Seattle wedding photos.
