Spring wedding in Seattle at the Admiral’s House

Stephanie and Jared’s Admirals House wedding was the perfect mix of timeless elegance and Seattle charm. As their photographer, I loved how every detail reflected their personalities, from the classic venue to the way they included their sweet golden retriever in the celebration. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and even a little rain—because this is Seattle, after all.

A Rainy Start, A Beautiful Celebration

The day began with clouds rolling in, but the couple never let the drizzle dampen their spirits. In fact, the light mist added a romantic softness to their Admiral’s House wedding. We embraced the weather and created some of my favorite images of the entire day. Transitioning indoors when needed, and stepping outside when the rain lightened up, allowed us to capture both the dramatic skies and the warm intimacy of the reception.

Film Wedding Photos in Black & White and Color

Stephanie and Jared wanted a timeless look, so we used a mix of black and white and color film to tell their story. The black and white frames highlighted quiet, emotional moments, while the color film captured the vibrant energy of the party and the sweeping Puget Sound views. Working with multiple formats gave us variety and depth, ensuring their admirals house wedding gallery feels dynamic and rich.

A Golden Guest

One of the sweetest parts of the day was when their golden retriever trotted in with a wagging tail and a big smile. Including him in portraits added such a personal touch and created genuine joy in the images. Those seattle wedding photos with their pup are ones they’ll treasure forever.

A Perfect Admirals House Wedding

In conclusion, Stephanie and Jared’s wedding day was a reminder of why I love photographing love stories in this city. From heartfelt vows and stunning views to rainy skies and loyal dogs, every moment felt real and beautiful. Their admirals house wedding will always stand out to me as a day full of heart, and their film wedding photos bring all those emotions to life in the most timeless way.

This wedding was also featured on one of our favorite wedding blogs Magnolia Rouge ! As well as Washington Wedding Day.
