Andrew & Lauren came down from Canada over the weekend with their handsome dog Heri to get their engagement photos taken. It was a crazy weather day, with sun, rain, hail & strong winds. We prayed to the weather gods and about 10 minutes before they arrived Joe and I saw a big beautiful rainbow appear in the sky. The weather cooperated for exactly the two hours we spent hiking and shooting. We took the trail from Discovery Park down to the beach. It was a great chance to get to know them since we will be shooting their wedding next October. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and troopers stomping through mud and puddles all way the to the beach. I feel like we are always having people stomp through mud, climb up snowy hills or going through some sort of obstacle before getting their photos taken, thats just the PNW way !
We spotted a Bald Eagle right when we got to the beach, so cool 🙂
