Filled with inspiration for this new Washington wedding venue
Fox Hollow Farm is a newer Seattle area wedding venue. Its located in Issaquah, WA tucked along the most lush tree lined mountains and rural roads. It has the most charming historic architecture. The main house is white with pillars, a grand staircase and a brick wraparound driveway. It seems like it must have been created for the perfect wedding day. We were so excited when Hailey & David’s wedding planner Janel with Occasions Wedding Planning LLC reached out to us about their wedding photography. Hailey mentioned she loved that we shoot film and digital In our work. We love it when a bride knows what she likes.
Capturing beautiful Fox Hollow Farm wedding photos on a rainy day
In true PNW fashion the rain showed up on their wedding day. In spite of this weather hiccup, Hailey had the best attitude and was able to pivot plans and go with the ideas we had for covered photos, luckily the Fox hollow wedding venue has the most gorgeous interior and we were able to utilize the natural light from windows to get some romantic portraits of the two of them. We did their first look out front with clear umbrellas followed by their family group photos and bridal party photos, luckily the barn at Fox Hollow was empty and not being used and had a large sliding door. It was the perfect spot to do group photos. With Joe holding the umbrella and helping to direct and pose the group shots we were able to keep everyone dry (except for ourselves) and get some stunning moody photos.
